The radiology department consists of state-of-the-art equipment with skilled, specialized and dedicated staff members. Nowadays radiology has become an integral part of patient evaluation with high quality images and low radiation exposure. Various modalities (equipment) used at Midas Multispecialty Hospital include:

The centre also provides services for MRI and Interventional Radiology in addition to support for special procedures like E.R.C.P. and endoscopic ultrasonography. A facility to perform and interpret more than 30,000 patient examinations annually.

The unique team & facilities of the radiology department also perform diagnostic imaging, percutaneous FNAC / biopsy, fluid aspirations & catheter drainage of lesions (eg. collection / abscess, etc). The department faculty has a multidisciplinary approach & work with interdepartmental specialists (eg. surgical / medical / intensive care, etc) in interpretation & guidance of MRI, CT scans, ultrasonography, ARFI, fluoroscopy & conventional radiography

From acquisition of images to their interpretation, the images are individually tailored to address the specific clinical needs.
